The NYS Department of Civil Service (DCS) has issued memoranda to announce that there were updates made to the Empire Plan Certificates.
The updated Empire Plan Certificates for NY Retirees and employees of the State of New York in CSEA, M/C; Legislature, PBA, PEF, PIA, UCS and UUP with amendments through January 1, 2025, are only available online on the NYSHIP website at nyship.ny.gov (Guide to Navigating NYSHIP Online).
Empire Plan Certificates for employees of the State of New York in DC-37 and NYSCOPBA (changes effective July 1, 2024) and for NY employees in APSU and C-82 (changes effective January 1, 2025) are now available online on the NYSHIP website at nyship.ny.gov (Guide to Navigating NYSHIP Online). They will also be mailed and emailed to enrollees.
