On February 19, 2025 the Office of the New York State Comptroller issued State Agencies Bulletin No. 2313. The purpose of this bulletin is to provide agencies with information regarding the change from a Longevity Lump Sum Payment (Earnings Code LLS) based on years at job rate to a Longevity Service Payment (Earnings Code LGS) based on years of qualifying service for employees in an eligible bargaining unit.
