The 2021-2026 collective bargaining agreement between the State of New York and the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA 02, 03, 04, and 47) has been amended to allow CSEA employees the ability to utilize up to 30 days of family sick leave and accumulate up to 225 days of sick leave. Previously there was a maximum of 25 days of family sick leave per year and a maximum accumulation of 200 days of sick leave. The LATS-NY system has been updated to allow this change which was effective August 2, 2022.
